Itinerary suggestions

Botswana – 10–11 Day Safari with Desert & Delta Lodges 



  • Day 1 – Arrival in Maun & Transfer to Camp Moremi
    Arrival at Maun Airport.
    Light aircraft or road transfer directly to Camp Moremi in the Okavango Delta.
    Your first game drive followed by a relaxed evening at the lodge.

    Accommodation options: Camp Moremi, Camp Xakanaxa

    Days 2–4 – Camp Moremi (3 nights)
    Daily game drive safaris in Moremi Game Reserve.
    Water-based activities including boat safaris.
    Wildlife sightings may include lions, elephants, buffalo, zebras and abundant birdlife.

    Days 5–6 – Camp Xugana or Camp Okavango (2 nights)
    Transfer to a more tranquil area of the Okavango Delta.
    Water activities such as mokoro and boating,and walkingsafari on nearby islands.
    Time to relax at the lodge while observing wildlife in its natural surroundings.

    Accommodation options: Camp Xugana, Camp Okavango

    Days 7–8 – Savute (2 nights)
    Transfer to the legendary Savute region, renowned for its high concentration of predators.
    Daily game drives around the Savute Channel and surrounding marshlands.
    Wildlife highlights include lions, cheetahs, large elephant herds and other iconic African species.

    Accommodation option: Savute Safari Lodge

    At this point, the journey can either end with a flight back to Maun and onward travel home or continue as follows:

    Accommodation option: Chobe Game Lodge

    Day 11 – Return to Maun & Departure
    Morning game drive or final river safari on the Chobe River.
    Transfer to Maun Airport for your onward journey home.
