My story
I'm Jannika, founder of Journeys & Beyond. My connection with Africa began over 20 years ago when I lived in South Africa. Since then, I've travelled widely across Southern and Eastern Africa, building the experience and local relationships that shape my work today.
The moments that stay with me
Listening to Victoria Falls for the first time. Watching elephants pass quietly beside a safari vehicle. Waking up to find one feeding just outside my tent.
I remember the people I've met just as vividly. Those encounters, along with the moments no one could have planned, are why I keep returning.
Why I do this
This is more than a profession for me.
It is a lifestyle shaped by years of travel, unforgettable moments, and a genuine appreciation for the diversity and depth Africa offers.
What I offer
I plan individual journeys for private travellers, small groups and selected corporate clients. You can come to me for a complete itinerary or when you need guidance with just one part of your trip.
