Journeys & Beyond is a travel planning service specializing in Southern and Eastern Africa, built on over 20 years of experience, deep regional knowledge, and a genuine love for the region. We focus on tailor-made trips for independent travellers, combining safaris, city experiences, road trips, and beach holidays across this diverse and spectacular part of the world.

Who is Behind Journeys & Beyond?
I'm Jannika von Wielligh. My travels in Southern and Eastern Africa started over 20 years ago while living in South Africa. Since then, I've explored many countries across the region. Step by step, I've experienced each destination firsthand — meeting local people, discovering hidden corners, and immersing myself in the landscapes and cultures.
From climbing the towering sand dunes of Namibia's Sossusvlei to witnessing wildlife up close and learning from local communities about life &cultures, these experiences shape every journey I create. Using the personal network I've built over the years, I design trips that are safe, meaningful, and tailored to each traveller's interests.
